As part of its Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the Homi Bhabha Fellowships Council (HBFC) warmly invites students, researchers, professionals, and all those interested in innovation and creative ideas to a special event celebrating 60 years of the Homi Bhabha Fellowships Programme.
The Diamond Jubilee event will feature past HBFC Fellows, who will share their experiences, discuss the impact of the Fellowship on their professional journeys, and offer valuable insights to prospective applicants. The programme aims to inspire individuals with original and innovative ideas to consider applying for a Homi Bhabha Fellowship.
About the Homi Bhabha Fellowships
HBFC offers Fellowships to deserving applicants across all fields of human learning. Applications undergo a rigorous selection process comprising an initial screening by HBFC, evaluation by an external expert referee, and an online interview.
Each Fellowship is tenable for two years and provides:
- ₹40,000 per month as Fellowship support*.
- An annual contingency grant of ₹1,00,000 to meet approved project-related expenses, in accordance with HBFC rules.
* Gainfully employed Fellows receive a Fellowship of ₹20,000 per month.
Registration
Participation in the Diamond Jubilee event is free, but registration is mandatory.
